"BARREL" IL PESCE CON LA TESTA TRASPARENTE !
Questo pescilino si chiama Barrel .E' stato per decenni un enigma ,perche' Barrel è davvero un pescetto speciale....anzi unico,e si dubitava addirittura della sua esistenza.
Il mistero del pesce dalla testa trasparente ,in cui è possibile vedere perfettamente tutti gli organi interni della testa , è stato finalmente svelato grazie ai ricercatori del Monterey Bay Aquarium Research Institute. L’animale, il cui nome scientifico è Macropinna microstoma, era stato descritto per la prima volta nel 1939 e ora finalmente studiato da vicino. Grazie agli occhi tubulari il pesce riesce a raccogliere molta luce e ha sviluppato una sorta di “vista a tunnel” che gli permette di sopravvivere anche nell’oscurità degli abissi oceanici.
